LOUIS WEINER, 86, OF POTTSTOWN Louis (Wyniar) Weiner, 86, widower of Anne (Breslawski) Weiner of Pottstown, PA, died Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born in Minersville, PA, he was the son of the late John and Anna (Kasczcak) Wyniar. Louis was a Class A. welder for the former Bethlehem Steel Corporation of Pottstown, until the plant closed in 1976. He then worked as a security guard for Burns Security at the Limerick Power Plant. He then worked as a security guard for Cabot Corporation in Boyertown, PA. Mr. Weiner was a U.S Navy veteran of World War II, where he served on the U.S.S. Mount McKinley. He belonged to the U.S.S. Mount McKinley Association. He was a member of St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 425 West Walnut Street, Pottstown, where he also served as a longtime trustee. He was a proud Ukrainian American, an avid bowler, accomplished photographer and a master woodcrafter as well as a jack of all trades. He loved big band era and swing era music. Louis was a man of great faith and strong character and will be dearly missed by his family. Surviving are two sons, Louis M. Weiner of Harrisburg, PA, and Rev. Philip Weiner, Pastor of St. Josaphats Ukrainian Catholic Church, Rochester, NY; four daughters, Patricia Ann Pawlata of Reading, PA; Barbara Ann, wife of James Deloplaine of Pottstown; Debra Ann wife of Robert Fabian of North Coventry Township, and Carol Ann, wife of Robert Evans of Reading, PA. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Dustin Deloplaine, husband of Jennelle; Matthew J. Fabian, fiance of Sarah Holmes; Robert Andrew Evans, husband of Amanda; Sarah, wife of Chris Maharrey; Brandon Evans, and Rachel Evans, and two great-grandchildren, Matthew Evans and Brock Deloplaine. Louis is also predeceased by two brothers, Michael and John Weiner. A Funeral Liturgy will be Monday, December 3, 2012 at St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Mycola Ivanov, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Douglassville, PA. A viewing will be Sunday evening from 7-9 p.m. and Monday morning from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. from Warker-Troutman Funeral Home, 726 East High Street, Pottstown, PA.
