Charles Malcolm Forbes, 1985-1991. " Mac", as he was know to his friends and family, was born and raised in Brooklyn NY, and was a 2nd Lt in the US Army from 1918-1919 (WWI). He and William Barthman were lifelong friends and served in the war together. After the war, Mac went to work at the prestigious William Barthman Jewelers at 174 Broadway (Financial District) in NYC. Mac and his wife Ethel (buried with him) had one daughter, Kathleen Beazley, who was a Sgt in the US Marine Corp. She passed in 1996, and she, her husband James, Mac, and Ethel are all buried at Culpeper Natl Cemetery in Virginia. Mac was the consummate gentleman, and always immaculately dressed, and a joyful soul. May he rest in peace.
