John T. Ibbotson grew up in New Hartford, NY with his Father Myron T. Ibbotson, Mother Ethel G. (Van Schaick) Ibbotson and brother Edward P. Ibbotson. His childhood years were fulfilled with a well rounded heart filled family environment. In his early teens he went to boarding school followed by college in 1967. John died suddenly in an (auto) accident following his second year away at college.
John enjoyed sports cars, motor cycles, reading, sports and social gathering with friends sharing their experiences. He was a very good natured person with a great personality who loved sharing a good story or joke. John would go the extra mile to help you out when in need. John was a good friend indeed.
