PARKER, ADELINA O., Suddenly, February 12, 2003. Cherished wife for twenty-seven years of Chauncey G. Parker III, stepmother of Stuart S. Parker of Bedford, NY, Chauncey G. Parker IV, of New York City and Cecilia P. Mercer of Athens, Georgia. In addition, Mrs. Parker is survived by seven step-grandchildren. She was born November 17, 1920, in Sardinia, Italy, spent the War years in Tunis and emigrated from France to her adopted country in 1957 with her first husband, Vladimir Ochmiansky, settling in New York City where he died in 1962. On August 14, 1976, she married Chauncey Parker in New York City, moving to Orlando in 1981 where he subsequently became Professor of English at Valencia Community College. While Mrs. Parker's life has successfully run its course, that of her husband will never be the same, bereft of her wisdom, devotion and unending kindness. Au revoir, tresor. Merci a toi.
