Kenneth Lester Emery, 75, died at his home in Silver Lake on Sept. 28, 1997.
Mr. Emery was born to Everett and Ester (Graves) Emery in Silver Lake. He is a third generation rancher who has been working on the family homestead in the Silver lake area all his life.
He married Dorothy Cannon in Las Vegas in 1955. Among his other interests were hunting, fishing and he was a member of the B.P.O.E. Lodge in Bend.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Emery, Silver Lake; son and daughter-in-law Bruce and Penney Emery, Silver lake; daughter, Tina Emery, Portland; brother, Maurice Emery, Coquille; grandsons, Kyle and Trent Emery, Silver Lake; and several nieces and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dale Emery.
