Leo J. LaVoie, 89, died November 27, 2013. He was the husband of Cecile (Gervais) Lavoie.
Leo was an aircraft mechanic at the Quonset Point NAS before retiring. He was an accomplished golfer.
Leo was a Veteran of WWII.
He was the father of Ronald L. Lavoie and his wife Sharon; grandfather of Ronald J. Lavoie and Lauren Sheldon; great-grandfather of Troy Sheldon; brother of Therese Gause, Cecile Birch, Rita Roach, Claire Morse and Arlene Irvin.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11:30 am in SS John & Paul Church, 341 South Main St., Coventry. Interment with military honors in R I Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
