Marcelle Beauchemin, 80, of 574 Pine St., Manchester, died Jan. 5, 2003, at Maple Leaf Health Care following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Beauchemin was born on Feb. 6, 1922, in St. Pascal, Quebec, Canada, daughter of Nathaniel and Marie Despres. She grew up in Manchester and attended local schools. For most of her life she was a homemaker.
After raising her family, she spent several years working at Prevue Products in Manchester and retired in 1985.
Family members include her husband of 59 years, Wilfrid P. Beauchemin; a son, Daniel Beauchemin of Manchester; two daughters, Rita Peace of Manchester and Genie Lacroix of Revere, Mass.; eight grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Theresa Holton, in December 2001.
SERVICES: A memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover St., in Manchester. Burial will take place at a later date at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
