PORTSMOUTH - Lawrence William Tacy, Jr. (Bill), 60 of Portsmouth, N.H. passed away surrounded by his family Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2017 at the Portsmouth Regional Hospital following a short period of failing health. He was born in York, Maine on Aug. 23, 1957 son of Lawrence William Tacy, Sr. and Elaine Franklin Tacy.
Bill is survived by his loving parents, Lawrence Sr. and Elaine Tacy; sister, Lori LeClair and her husband Rick, brother, Michael Tacy and his wife Melissa, sister, Cathy Watt and her husband David; nieces, Christy Harrison, Kelly Gelsomino and her husband Brett, Ashley Labell and her husband Kevin and Sara Watt; nephew, Brandon Watt; grandniece, Irie Labell; grandnephews, Cameron Tuttle and Lennon Labell; step niece, Amanda Goodrich and her husband Eric and children Ariana and Eric II; aunts and uncles.
Bill attended Kittery schools and graduated from R.W. Traip Academy in 1975. He also studied Business at the University of Southern Maine in Gorham. Bill worked in sales in the building and construction industry since he was 17 years old. He really enjoyed following and watching all the Boston sports teams with his friends.
Bill was loved dearly.
SERVICES: Visitation will be held Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service promptly at 12 noon, at the JS Pelkey Funeral home, 125 Old Post Road, Kittery, Maine 03904.
