A son, Olcott B. Buckley was born June 11, 1865 in Missouri and died February 27, 1952 in Los Angeles, Cal.

The following information was condensed from 1881 "History of Saline County, Missouri" by Cynthia Farmer-Nold.

Rev. Olcott Bulkley was the son of A. Bulkley of Connecticut and Esther Bulkley of Massachusetts. He was educated at Bristol College and studied theology at Alexandra, Virginia. After ordination as an Episcopal minister he lived first in Fredrick County, Maryland, then Cumberland County, Virginia. From there he came to Missouri and settled I Elmwood Township, Saline County. During his rectorship in Saline County, he had charge of St. Thomas parish. In 1869 he had charge of Grace Church in Jefferson City for 6 years and was chaplain of the penitentiary during that time. He was also president of the Jefferson City Female Seminary. Due to failing health, he gave up active ministry and retired to his farm in Saline County.

He married Miss Ann E. Johnson of Frederick County, Maryland on Nov. 19, 1840.

Two of his sons, William A. and Channing died in the Civil War.

A son, Henry Martin Bulkley, born about January 1846 in Virginia, USA and died June 12, 1850. Buried at St. Marks Cemetery, Petersville, Maryland. Inscription: Henry Martin son of Olcott and Ann Bulkley died June 12, 1850 aged 4 years 5 months. Suffer the children to come unto me for such is the kingdom of God. Mark 10:14.
His tombstone is between his grandparents, Joseph and Eleanor Johnson.
