Reuben R. Stewart, son of Luke Stewart and Ruth Risley. Reuben was married to Helen A. Pierce. At his death, a son also named Rueben R. Stewart had not yet been born. In his will, Reuben refers to the younger to be born Reuben as "any child or children by me begotten which may be born of her [Helen A. (Pierce) Stewart] subsequent to the time of my decease".

Date of death is as recorded in a Truxton Cemetery burial registry. Reuben's young son Freddie had just passed 4 MAR 1864 days before Reuben's last will and testament dated 16 MAR 1864. Probate papers were dated 31 MAY 1864.
