Richard B. Hull, son of Rev. Varnum and Malinda Hull, was born in Alfred, Allegany Co., N. Y., Dec. 7, 1837, and died in Milton, Wis., Feb. 17, 1904, at the age of 66 years, 2 months and 10 days, having been in poor health for a long time.
He came to Wisconsin with his father's family in the early fifties; when his father accepted a call from the Milton S. D. B. church to become their pastor.
He married Miss Charlotte Stewart, daughter of Mr. And Mrs. S. S. Stewart of Albion, Wis. He was the father of two children now living. One son, Eugene, living at home and one daughter, Luella, married, and residing in the city of Milwaukee.
He was the brother of Calvin Hull; now residing at Milton Junction, Wis., of Augustus Hull, who died at Chattanooga, Tenn., while in the U. S. service during the late civil war and of Mrs. M. C. Mudge, of Welton, Ia.
His father died at Rock River, in March 1885, while pastor of the Rock River S. D. B. church. His mother now 86 years old is living with her daughter in Welton, Ia.
He leaves a beloved wife, a son and a daughter, a brother, a sister, a devoted mother and a large circle of neighbors and friends to mourn their loss.
