Richard E. Hartwell, living in Easton, MA passed away on April 7th at the age of 71. He was the son of Joseph and Ann Hartwell. He was raised in Weston, MA and was a long term resident of Lexington, MA. After graduating from Harvard University (Class of 1960) he joined the Army Reserve (1961 to 1967; rank of SPC 5). Mr. Hartwell then worked for over 20 years as a collections agent for New World Bank. He also had a loving marriage with Ann Curley. In his spare time he enjoyed working in his yard, exercising, walking on Lexington's bike path, and visiting his childhood summer home in Lake Sunapee, NH. He is survived by his son Richard and his brother John and wife Joan. A memorial service is tentatively planned for Sunday, July 12 at St. Andrews Church in New London, NH.
