He married Amy (Hill? or Marsead?) in Towcester, England on April 14, 1584.
His will dated July 18, 1622 stated that his occupation was a joiner and he desired to be buried in the churchyard at Towcester.

I bequeath to my wife, Amye Bird, all my household goods, I possessed when my daughter Parris Tighte,widow, was married her late husband George Tighte, to bring up her seven fatherless children, & I make her my executrix. Signed: Robert Bird

Robert Lord was buried on July 22, 1622 in the Towchester churchyard.
