Millen-Reverend Eldred C. Mixon, Sr., 74, of Millen entered into rest Tuesday, December 24, 2002, at his residence.
He was a native of Millen and served his country in the Korean Conflict.
Survivors: his wife, Betty Gay Mixon; two sons, E. Calvin Mixon, Jr. of Canton and Charles R. Mixon of Varnville, SC; a daughter, Pamela M. Rosborough of Millen; a brother, Roy D. Mixon of Warner Robins; a sister, Erma M. Gorenflo of Columbus, OH; three grandchildren, Casey Mixon, Dylan Mixon, and Carly Rosborough; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 7:00-9:00 p.m. Thursday, December 26, 2002, at Crowe-Fields Funeral Home.
Funeral: 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 27, 2002, at The Church of God of Millen on Hwy 25N.
