OBITUARY OF JUDGE A. B. LINN
Judge Albert B. Linn, who died in this city on Tuesday, March 15th, 1898, was a resident of Pawnee county for twenty years. He was born in Kennebec county, Maine, on January 10th, 1824, where he resided until 1840, when he moved to Lee county, Illinois. He was married to Julia Stark on April 20th, 1845, and his wife still survives him. Ten children were born of this marriage, four of whom are still living. In 1867 he moved to Brookfield, Missouri, where he resided until he came to Pawnee county in 1878. During his residence in this city Mr. Linn was one of our most honored and respected citizens. He was a strong believer in the principles of the Republican party and was repeatedly elected to office by that party. He filled these various positions with honor and credit and no man had aught to say against him. His death is mourned by all and the bereaved wife and children have the sympathy of the entire community in their sad affliction.
