Gtrave marker has incorrect year. Obituary states he was born 1931 and the 1940 census has him as age 9.

Ervin William Larson, 88, passed away on October 14, 2019. He was born on April 2, 1931 in Ogden, Utah, the son of Ervin Franklin Larson and Antonia Schreven. He was the first of eight children born.

He married Janiel Gale and they later divorced. He then met Susan Kay Green and they were married and spent many happy years together.

Bill graduated from Ogden High School class of 1949 and received several engineering certificates of completion throughout his career.

Bill was in the Navy as a machinist mate during the Korean War. He took that experience as a machinist mate and became a machinist for Marquart Engineering taking advantage of many opportunities to get experience as an engineer. As an engineer he became a key player at Marquart later becoming a Building manager. Bill later worked at Murdock, Jetway, Parker Engineering, and Beehive manufacturing.

Prior to his divorce he could be found enjoying water skiing or snow skiing each weekend with his family. Bill always enjoyed his friends and the outdoors. Throughout his life he's enjoyed water / snow skiing, camping, hunting, gambling, slot machines, craps, motorcycles, card games, and especially guys night out.

Bill is survived by his wife, Susan; son, Ken Larson; daughter, Susan Jarman; Stepson Kelly (Lisa) Christensen; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; siblings, Vivian Benna, Larry (Julie) Larson, Judy (Roger) Stokes, Nancy (Stephen) Ray. He was preceded in death by his son, Scott; his parents Ervin and Antonia, brothers Gary, Ken, and David Larson.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 28, 2019 at 10:40 a.m. at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder, NV. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
