Born December 1, 1902, in Rockland, Idaho, to Evelyn Robinson Houtz and Carl Dee Houtz. She was a lifelong member of the LDS Church and a member of the Cottonwood 7th Ward for over 30 years. Member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Served many years as a volunteer at Veterans Hospital. Married C. Lawrence Watson November 8, 1933. He passed away October 6, 1972.
Survived by sister, Lucile H. Wright; niece, Barbara L. Hayward; nephews, Donner E. Houtz, Clifford R. Houtz and William A. Wright, Jr.; and numerous great nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Monday, January 4, 1999 at 10 a.m. in the Cottonwood 7th Ward, 5565 South Neighbor Lane (1610 East) Salt Lake City, Utah. Graveside services will follow at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East 4580 South, Salt Lake City, Utah, under the direction of Larkin Mortuary.
