Myra Wright Robinson, 95, died of natural causes on Nov. 8, 2000 in Taylorsville, UT.
She was born November 2, 1905 in Ogden, Utah to Marie Ames Wright and Harry Wright. She graduated from high school in Ogden and from Weber State University. She then taught elementary school for two years before marrying John Franklin Robinson in 1927.
Myra and Frank lived in Lewiston, Maine then moved to Dedham, MA where Frank was a Protestant minister and Myra was a homemaker raising her children, Carl, Edith, John and Faye. In 1946, Myra and Frank moved their family to Bountiful, UT, where their youngest daughter, Susan was born.
Myra is preceded in death by her husband Frank; daughter, Edith; and brothers, Fay, Harry, Clarence, and Paul Wright. She is survived by her son, Carl Robinson; her daughters, Joan Sorenson, Faye Robinson and Susan Hiatt; her 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
A private family memorial service will be held Saturday, November 11th. She will be interred in Syracuse, Utah.
Lovingly known to her family as "Gram," Myra, our beloved Gram was the kindest, most generous, faithful, and gracious person. Her love and example made us all immeasurably better people. There are angels on earth--she was one of them.
Gram Myra Grace descended Raising her up.
All she embraced Myra blessed with her love
