Obituary for Dyanna Kay Dye Wallace
OGDEN - Dyanna Kay Dye Wallace, beloved wife, and mother, 47 returned home to her Heavenly Father on October 19, 2021 after her year long fight with cancer.
She was surrounded by her husband and daughters when she passed.
She was born in Uintah to Thomas Neil and Leora Dye on July 12, 1974.
She had a beautiful childhood with 4 loving siblings.
She attended Bonneville High School and was a sterling scholar.
After graduating she found herself as an intern at a real estate office.
She continued her education at Weber State University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration systems.
She continued working in real estate, and later met her eternal companion, Travis Bingham Wallace.
Travis went into the office looking for a new house and ended up falling for the receptionist.
They were married on November 14, 1997, and later sealed for time and all eternity in the Ogden Temple.
They raised a family of 3 wonderful daughters, who are extremely lucky to be a part of such a fun-loving family.
Dyanna is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She served faithfully in so many callings including the ward organist and pianist, Primary, Young Women and Relief Society.
Although she felt inadequate to be called to these church callings she learned to grow and magnify her callings and blessed the lives of all those she served.
She was a friend and confidant to the community members she had the pleasure of working with.
Dyanna had a love for running that was unbelievable to most people.
Her running resume includes 12 half marathons, 23 full marathons, 12 ultra marathons, and completed one-100 mile ultra.
In the past few years she has found a special love for the Ogden trails and spent most mornings on top of a mountain with her "sole sisters".
She was always up for a trail running adventure, she didn't care if it was the sunniest day or a snowy one.
Her friends and family are in awe of her accomplishments and spent many Saturdays at a race finish line cheering for our favorite runner.
Surviving Dyanna are her husband of 24 years, Travis Bingham Wallace. Her daughters McKay, Taysia and Audrey. Her mother Leora Porter Dye.
Her brothers David (Kari), Jonathan (Kristin), Thomas (Andrea), and her sister Jeneil Fields (Rondal).
Preceding her in death is her father Thomas Neil Dye and her grandparents Jonathan and Elva Dye and Leo and Nora Porter.
Although the last year of her life has been trying emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually, she was comforted in her faith in Christ and the Father's plan.
Her firm testimony of the Savior and his atonement lights the lives of all those who surround her.
