MRS. G. STODDARD SUCCUMBS AT 83

Mrs. Gertrude E. Stoddard, 83, died yesterday at a local hospital.

Mrs. Stoddard was born in Dorchester, New Brunswick, Canada, and was a Hoquaim resident for many years. She was for some time housekeeper for the rectory of Our Lady of Good Help Catholic Church in Hoquiam.

She is survived by two sons, Jack and William Stoddard, both of Aberdeen; a brother William McGowan, Los Angeles; two sisters, Mrs. Marian Hildenbrand, Hoquiam, and Mrs. Kathleen Morgan, New Westminster, B.C., and 12 grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements will be annouced by Whiteside's.

FUNERAL NOTICE: GERTRUDE E. STODDARD

The funeral mass for Mrs. Gertrude E. Stoddard will be offered at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning from Our Lady of Good Help Catholic Church in Hoquiam with Rev. William J. Ogden officiating. Internment will follow at Fern Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Frodel, Edward Smith, Dave Richardson, Dennis Richarson, Harry Loomis, and John Stoddard. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 o'clock tonight at the church. Arrangements are under Whiteside's direction.

Gertrude Eleanor Stoddard passed at 9:50a.m. at St. Joseph's Hospital where she had resided for the previous 9 months.
