PAROWAN, Utah--Joseph Leland Winter, 89, passed away Saturday, December 18, 1993 in Fullerton, Calif.
He was born July 15, 1904 to Joseph and Elsie Littlefair Winter in Salt Lake City, Utah. Joseph worked for the Union Pacific Railroad, where he served for 30 years as a brakeman. Joseph loved the outdoors and spent most of his time with his friends, golfing at the Color Country Ridge Golf Course.
Survivors include children, Joseph (Jay) Leland Winter, Jr., of Buena Park, Calif.; Charlene Fowler of Fullerton, Calif.; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday December 22, 1993 at 11 a.m., in the Parowan Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6-7 p.m. and Wednesday at 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Parowan Southern Utah Mortuary.
