Armond Mervin Bosh, 74, died peacefully July 20, 1993 at his home in Midvale after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born January 9, 1919 in Levan, Utah to Mervin Alden Bosh and Delila Alger. He married Irene Yarwood in Somerton, Arizona on March 16, 1940. Armond owned and operated Bosh's Cleaning in Midvale for 35 years. He was a dedicated member of the Midvale Fire Department, where he served as Fire Chief for approximately 16 years, as well as a member of the Utah State Fireman's Association for 43 years. A Veteran of World War II, he was a member of the F.O.E. Aerie #659 in Midvale. He loved fishing, bowling and dancing.

Survivors: Wife of 53 years, Irene, Midvale; children, Judie Lee Swanson (Elwood "Shag"), Sandy; Coween L. Millett (Bruce), Riverton; Lori Ann Kinsley (Mike), Midvale; 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; sister, LaFern Beckstead, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by parents and a brother, Myron J.

Funeral services Friday, July 23, 1993, at 11 a.m. in the Goff Mortuary Chapel, 8090 So. State, where friends may call Thursday 6-8 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to services. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.

ARMOND M. BOSH, FORMER FIRE CHIEF OF MIDVALE, DIES

Former Midvale Fire Chief Armond Mervin Bosh, 74, died July 20, 1993, at his home in Midvale.

Mr. Bosh was a 13-year veteran of the Midvale volunteer fire department when he was named chief in 1963. He held the chief's job for about 16 years. He was a member of the Utah State Fireman's Association for 43 years.

Mr. Bosh also operated Bosh's Cleaning in Midvale for 35 years and was a veteran of World War II.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 23, in the Goff Mortuary Chapel, 8090 S. State. Friends may call one hour before the service. Interment will be at the Midvale City Cemetery.
