Wanda Maurine Thomas Bosh

Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, Maurine Bosh, passed on after a courageous and honorable battle with cancer November 26th, 2000. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was born in Salt Lake City on May 22, 1924 to John J. Thomas and Winnifred Kirkham Thomas. She married Myron J. Bosh in Salt Lake City on July 18, 1946, later divorced.

Her strong will and passion for life made it possible to raise three children on her own while maintaining a successful career as a Bank Executive. She was an inspiration to all who knew her, and her most valuable assets in life was her family. She was very active in the LDS Church, numerous groups and clubs that she loyally attended. She especially enjoyed traveling, a good game of golf with her friends and family and one could never forget her passion for the Utah Jazz and the Grand 'Ole Opry.

She is survived by three children, Linda (Dennis) Johnson, Sherri Hess, Brent (Cheryl) Bosh; eight grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother and five sisters, Lucile McArtor, Emma (Wally) Jensen, Iris (Dick) Neil, Cleo L. Deveroux, Ruth (Paul) Howe, Gary "Bud" Thomas; two sisters-in-law, Virginia Thomas, Helen Thomas. Preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and one sister, John J. Thomas, Richard Thomas, Gail Seaman; one great- granddaughter.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Litton and Jolles for their compassionate care through such a trying time.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 1, 2000 at 11 a.m. at the South Cottonwood 7th Ward, 1250 E Murray-Holladay Rd. (4800 S.) Family and friends may call Thurs. evening from 6-8 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 10600 S. 1700 E. and at the ward one hour prior to the service. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
