Millie Lund Hamblin

Mrs. Millie Lund Hamblin, 78, 341 Beldon pl., died Monday at 2:40 p.m. in a Salt Lake hospital of a kidney ailment.

She was born Oct. 23, 1869, in Copenhagen, Denmark, and came to Salt Lake City 69 years ago, a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Mrs. Hamblin had been an active worker in the Eighth Ward Relief Society.

She was married to Lyman Duane Hamblin in July, 1945, in Evanston, Wyo.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Ross Lund, Sunnydale, Carbon county; four daughters, Mrs. Vivian Johnson and Mrs. Norma Fitzer, San Francisco; Mrs. Delores Flamm, Sacramento; and Mrs. Marcia Vanderhoff, Big Timber, Mont.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. in Eighth ward chapel by Glendon E. Steiner, bishop. Frieds may call Wednesday until noon at 36 E 7th South and at the ward chapel 15 minutes prior to funeral. Burial will be in Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
