Woodstock, VT – Kevin E. Temple, 60, formerly of New London, NH died on Monday, February 4, 2013 at his daughter’s home in Enfield, NH.
He was born May 2, 1952 in Lebanon, NH a son of Bob and Pauline (LaBounty) Temple. Kevin grew up in Plainfield, NH and graduated from Lebanon High School Class of 1970. After high school he went to work for Granite State Electric, now Liberty Utilities, for 39 years. In his spare time he would mow fields and help maintain the Carter Country Club Golf Course in the summer and taught skiing and was on the Ski Patrol at Killington in the winter months. He also worked part time as a police officer for the Town of Plainfield in his early years with Granite State.
Kevin enjoyed anything that had to do with the outdoors, especially snowmobiling, riding his motorcycle, when he was younger he raced motocross at the Canaan Lions Club, hunting, fishing, golfing and boating on the Connecticut River with his daughter.
He is survived by his daughter Jennifer Densmore and her husband Scott of Enfield; his father Bob Temple and his wife Polly of West Lebanon, NH; his mother Pauline Chase of Plainfield; a brother Maurice Temple of Plainfield; a grandson Reuben Densmore of Enfield; two nieces and several cousins.
Family and friends may call at the Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 from 5-7 PM. A Celebration of Kevin’s life will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 11 AM. A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
