Beacon, N.Y., May 16 - Inglis Stuart of Beacon, a retired estate lawyer who had practiced here and in New York, died today in the Highland Hospital, after an illness of three months, at the age of 83.
A son of Homer Stuart, one-time president of the American Bank Note Company, he was graduated from Amherst College and the Columbia Law School. In New York he was associated in practice with the firm of A.S. & W. Hudson. He was a director of the North River Insurance Company of New York and a member of the Railway Historical Society of Boston.
A bachelor, he leaves no immediate relatives.
