W. H. Dimmick Taken by Death: William H. Dimmick, 78, 207 Skyline Drive, Trucksville, died Wednesday in Nesbitt Memorial Hospital, Kingston. Born in Vandling, he was an engineer on the D&H Railroad 49 years, retiring in 1981. He was a member of Trucksville United Methodist Church, Masonic orders and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. Surviving are his widow, the former Grace Williams; a son, William J. Jr., Trucksville; two daughters, Mrs. Harold Williams, Trucksville, and Mrs. George Bentley, Wilkes-Barre; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Kitchen, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Robert Washburn, Hollywood, Fla.; six grandchildren and seven grat grandchildren. The funeral will be today at 1:30 p.m. from the Harold C. Snowdon Funeral Home, 140 N Main St., Shavertown. Interment, Memorial Shrine Cemetery, Carverton.
