Ann Mays Harrell, 84, of Martinsville passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018.
She was born in Martinsville, Va. on July 20, 1934, to Martin Luther Mays and Blanche Stone Mays.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, William Stone Mays, Robert Lee Mays, and Thomas Dodd Mays.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Roy Gilbert Harrell of Martinsville; her daughter, Pamela Dean Harrell of Richmond; honorary son and daughter, Doug and Melanie Payne and their two daughters, Jennifer and Kimberly.
A memorial service will be held at Starling Avenue Baptist Church on Monday, July 30, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor T. Dodd Mays officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Starling Avenue Baptist Church, 932 Starling Avenue, Martinsville, VA 24112 for future projects or building and grounds at the Church.
