TROON.—In sad and loving remembrance of our dear mother, Catherine Troon, beloved wife of James Troon, who departed this life July 23, 1903, aged 47 years.
Dearest Mother, thou has left us,
We thy loss most, deeply feel;
But 'tis God who has bereft us.
He can all our sorrows heal,
Never more on earth to meet thee,
Never more to clasp thy hand;
But in Heaven we hope to meet thee.
In that far-off, happy land. O, silent grave, to thee we trust.
This precious part of earthly dust;
Guard it safely, sacred tomb ,
Till we, her children, call for room.
