Caroline Ewing Fitz died at Courville Nursing Home in Nashua, NH on January 21, 1994 after a long illness. She was born on January 29, 1916 in Claremont, NH; the daughter of William Sr and Clara (Ewing) Kirn.
She lived in Claremont for many years, then in Nashua for thirty years, and had resided at the nursing home for the past two years. She graduated from Stevens High School and attended Edgewood Park School in New York. She was a volunteer at Nashua Memorial Hospital for many years.
She married Walter Scott Fitz Jr on July 16, 1938 in Claremont who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by daughter Valerie.
Survivors include Walter Scott Fitz III of Avon Lake, OH; one daughter Carol Lynn Landry of Nashua, NH; three brothers William A Kirn Jr of Claremont, NH, Edward B Kirn of Springfield, VT, and John K Kirn of Windham, NH; and nine grandchildren.
Burial is in Mtn View Cemetery.
