Anna Maria was born about 1685. She was the daughter of Hans Jakob Karcher, a resident of Wolfskirchen, Nassauische Herrschaft, Unterelsass (Lower Alsace), Germany. Her father was deceased by the time of her marriage to "Jung" Balthasar Münster (as his second wife) on 16 May 1713 in Freudenstadt, Württemberg.
