Christoph was the son of Johannes "Hans" and Margarethe Wölper. He married first to Gertraud Möhrlin on 6 Oct. 1646 in Freudenstadt, Württemberg. He married second to Katharina Lieb on 22 Apr. 1662 in Freudenstadt.
He was a merchant and carter, and a leaseholder of the iron industry in Christophstal.
