D'Averil Yvonne Ibbotson, 77, passed in Portland.
D'Averil was born in Portland to Flora Bradbury and was later adopted by her great-aunt Clarissa West.
D'Averil is remembered by her many friends and family, especially her three children; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
D'Averil was passionate about social and environmental issues, and had been an educator with degrees earned at the University of Washington and the University of Oregon.
A celebration was held, with another to take place at a later date when a marker will be placed in Mt. Laki Cemetery in Klamath Falls.
