Miss Christine Misura, 52, of Stewart Street, Amsterdam, NY died peacefully on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at St. Mary's Hosptial. Born in Lowville, NY on June 30, 1958 she was the daughter of Andrew and Rose Misura.
Christine was a communicant of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church and a resident of Liberty for many years. Christine was also a member of "Keeper's of the Circle" and especially enjoyed music and playing her guitar. She will be remembered for her love of her faith, and of her family. She will be sadly missed by all of the lives she touched.
Survivors include her parents; two sisters, Sharon and Mary; and her Liberty family.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 11:15a.m. at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 156 East Main Street, Amsterdam, NY with Fr. Brian List as celebrant. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call from 10 until 11a.m. Wednesday morning at the Blessed Sacrament Chapel at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to her beloved church, St. Mary's.
