Carroll Dunscomb (sic) last week received news of the death of his brother, Cecil Dunscomb, paymaster on the U. S. Houston. Mr. Dunscomb had been in the service for twelve years, and they expected to retire him at the end of this trip, but he died upon arriving in port.

Owing to the death of a relative, Mrs. Dunscomb will not entertain the Mozart Club tomorrow evening. Mrs. Hancock will be hostess instead at her home on the river front.
