Silas Beckett Vaughn was the second son of Ephraim Vaughn & Eunice Stewart. He married Nancy M. Annis in 1849 in Royalton, Cuyahoga, Ohio. Sadly his wife and his older brother Joel, died unexpectedly in 1862. After their deaths Silas seemed to move around between Arizona and California. Have not yet located his children:Olive, Edward, John J., Harriet and Stella. Everett Willis likely youngest child is buried in North Royalton Cemetery near his mother, Nancy, whom I suspect died due to complications of childbirth of this child. The 1880 census record for Silas B. Vaughn in Pima, Arizona indicates he was married.
