Mr. Charles W. Lynn, Who Passed Away After Three Days' Illness,
Among Best Liked Postoffice Employes.

Mr. Charles W. Lynn, one of the best known of the force of city mail carriers, died yesterday after an illness of three days from acute pneumonia. He had carried his route on Friday of last week but went to his bed the next day and grew steadily worse.

Mr. Lynn had been in bad health for several years and came to this country about four years ago in the hope of securing benefit. He was successful in his ambition and steadily improved until about two years ago, when he had a similar severe attack of pneumonia, which left him in a weakened condition and from which he never entirely recovered. Funeral services will be held over the remains from the Reilly undertaking parlors this afternoon at 4 p.m. and interment will be in the city cemetery.

Mr. Lynn was born in Illinois in the year 1862 and for the greater part of his life lived in Chicago. He leaves a wife and two children to mourn him, the former being in this city while the latter are with relatives in Chicago.

Mr. Lynn was regarded as one of the most faithful and efficient employees of the civil service of the local post office and his death causes general regret among his associates and acquaintances.
