OGDEN - Edward Arland Allred, age 46, died Friday, January 1, 1999 in Reno, Nevada from injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was born in Ogden, Utah on August 15, 1952 to Arland William Allred and Leona Wilson Allred. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the U.S. Army where he served as a heavy equipment mechanic. He was currently serving in the Army National Guard 211th Aviation Unit as a supply clerk. He enjoyed working on cars, camping, traveling, and loved spending time with his family. He was currently employed by Zero Enclosures Company. Surviving are one son, Dan Edward Allred, Junction City, Kansas; two brothers, Jerry (Darlene) Allred, Ogden; Les (Kayla) Allred, Ogden; one sister, Evelyn (Mike) Stoddard, Boise, Idaho; and many caring nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother and father. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 8, 1999 at 11 a.m. at Myers Mortuary Chapel in Ogden, 845 Washington Blvd., where friends may call on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and Friday from 10-10:45 a.m. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park where military honors will be accorded by the Army National Guard
