Obituary from Post Register (Idaho Falls, ID) - October 10, 1979:
Lorene Ireta Hutchens, 45, Idaho Falls, died Monday at a local hospital following a long illness.
She was born at Shelley, November 22, 1933, daughter of Wilford H. and Ireta Winward Stoddard. She was raised in Shelley and attended schools there.
She married Ralph Hutchens at Rigby, August 31, 1954. The couple lived in Idaho Fals since that time.
She served as secretary of the Hawthorne PTA and was a Primary teacher at the LDS 8th Ward and at the Iona LDS Ward, as well as a Relief Society teacher.
Survivors are her husband and a daughter, Tamie of Idaho Falls; her mother of Shelley; seven brothers: Floyd, Merlin, and Dennie Stoddard of Shelley, Fred and Martin of Idaho Falls, Jay of Lorenzo, and Dewaine, Layton, Utah; six sisters, Mrs. Jack (Florence) Johansen, Caldwell, Ellie Violet Cox, Darby, Montana, Mrs. Don (Delpha) Beck, Blackfoot, Mrs. Dale (Darlene) Quinn, Sandy, Oregon, Mrs. Rick (Nita) Nelson, Decker, Montana, Mrs. Larry (Connie) Bumgarner, and Louise Webb of Shelley.
Services will be held Thursday at the Buck-Sullivan Funeral Home with Bishop McKay Guthrie of the Iona 3rd Ward officiating. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
