George Alvin Sagers, 49, died Feb, 4, 1977, in a Salt Lake City hospital of complications following surgery.
Born Aug. 10, 1927, Woodrow, Millard County, to William L. and Clara Edra Taylor Sagers. Married Mary Bernila Hedelius, Jan. 27, 1955 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Served in U.S. Navy. Eagle Scout, scout leader for over 20 years in LDS Church, letter carrier, 20 years, U.S. Postal Service.
Survivors; wife, Salt Lake City; sons, Gary Alan, David Leland, Bruce Gilbert, Neil Wallace, all Salt Lake City; one grandson; brothers, Sterling, Joseph L., both Salt Lake City; sisters, Mrs. C. V. (Zona) Curtis, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Melvin R. (Leora) Hutchinson, Inglewood Calif.
