Erma Peterson passed away peacefully on Friday February 27, 2009 at Wasatch Care Center.

Erma was born March 29, 1927 to Elva Stoddard and Jonathan Dye in Uintah, Utah. She was raised in Uintah and attended Weber High School. On April 30, 1948, she married Joseph Peterson and they were later sealed in the Logan Temple. Joseph preceded her in death on August 31, 1997.

Erma was employed at IRS, retiring after 20 years of service. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held various positions. She enjoyed her flower garden and sewing.

Erma is survived by her daughters, Jolene (Edward) Jamison of Taylor, and Marlene Peterson of Sandy, one sister Vera Talbot of Clinton and two brothers, Rulon and Neil Dye of Uintah. She is also survived by three grandchildren and five great-grand children. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph, one sister and one brother.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 6, 2009 at 1 pm at Leavitt's Mortuary 836 36th Street, Ogden. A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 5, at Leavitt's Mortuary, from 6-8 pm. and on Friday from 12-12:45 pm. at Leavitt's Mortuary.

Interment Uintah City Cemetery.
