Washington CH., Ohio: Hubert Reeves Gay, Jr. 78, of Washington CH., OH formerly of Martinez, GA died Sunday in Washington CH. Retired career Army servicman and letter carrier, with the USPS. Preceeded by wife, Jean. Survived by sons, Dr. Albert G. Gay and his wife, Mary, of Washington CH., Raymond Gay of North August, SC and Allen Gay of Waxhaw, NC; daughters, Wanda Gay of Augusta, GA. and Jacqulyn Ligdon of Charlotte, NC; 12 grandchildren; a great granddaughter and sisters, Betty Mixon of Millen, GA. and Sue Baxley of Beech Island, SC. Funeral Thursday at 1 p.m. at Thomas Poteet and Son Funderl Directors, 214 Davis Road, Augusta, GA. where friends may call from 10 a.m. Thursday until time of service. Burial in Pine View Memorial Gardens in North Augusta, SC. Visitation at Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Washington C.H.
