Lucinda Taylor was Jacob Hamblins 1st wife.
On Feb.5 1849, She bundled her infant son in his sweather coat and waited for Jacob to return with the other 3 children from his fathers.
She took her 13 month-old son Lyman, met Jacob at the fence, shoved the baby under the fence, and yelled at him to take his "Little Morman Brats." He then took them to Council Bluffs.
Just before Jacob left from Council Bluff, she visited the children. She brought the children gifts. As she embraced Lyman, he pushed away from her, not remembering his mother.
After her visit she returned to her older home in Ill.
