Green, Aaron Robert - 31
2/7/1978 ~ 7/7/2009
Aaron Robert Green, age 31, was tragically seized from our lives on July 7, 2009, in Bainbridge, Ga., when his personal aircraft unexpectedly crashed to the ground. Aaron was just days away from completing his aviation training to begin his agricultural crop dusting career. Prior to this recent passion, Aaron lived and worked in Troutdale. Aaron had a rich and diverse career path, which included co-owing and running a large commercial catfish farming operation in Red Bluff, Calif. Aaron was also a big part of the hotel and restaurant industry in Las Vegas. Born on Feb. 7, 1978, Aaron was raised by his loving parents, Robert and Tia Green, with his loving sister, Aubree, and brother, Jason, by his side. Growing up, he loved to skateboard, snowboard, play baseball and soccer. Aaron was good at so many things but his true calling in life appeared on Jan. 16, 2006, when his daughter, Tia Beverly Green, was brought into his life. A devoted, caring and dedicated father, we will all miss his signature laugh, piercing blue eyes and his unique approach to life and always living in the moment. Aaron was someone you connected with, regardless of how long you had the pleasure to know or be with him. He is survived by his daughter, Tia B. Green; fiancée, Katie E. Carlson; sister, Aubree L. Green; brother, Jason R. Green; and grandfathers, Charles W. Green and William R. Bennett. His parents, Robert and Tia Green, predeceased Aaron in 1991 and 1993 respectively. We all wish a sad but deep and loving farewell to our prince, our captain and our most inspiring Aaron. Goodbye and may God bless you always as you have blessed us. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 17, 2009, in Oak Hill Cemetery, Red Bluff, Calif. A memorial, visitation and celebration will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 16, 2009, at Growney Ranch, 12011 Highway 99 West, Red Bluff, CA 96080. In lieu of flowers, Aaron's family is requesting donations made for the benefit of his daughter. An account has been established at Bank of Nevada for this purpose. Checks for deposit should be made payable to Aubree L. Green FBO Tia Beverly Green or to Tia Beverly Green. Checks may be deposited directly with the bank or mailed to P.O. Box 2323, Las Vegas, NV 89125. Arrangements are being handled by Hoyt-Cole Chapel of the Flowers, 816 Walnut Street, Red Bluff, CA 96080; 530-527-1174.
