Shelton Hamblin Platt was born March 31, 1919 in St. Johns, Arizona, He died December 16, 1993 at the Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Utah.
He is the son of William Lester and Iris Hamblin Platt. He married Harriet Rozina Brewer on June 23, 1962 in the Los Angeles, California Temple.
He is survived by his daughter, Iris of Orem, Utah; and one sister, Lorene DeWitt of St. Johns, Arizona. His loving wife, Harriet, preceded him in death in September of this year. His parents, two brothers and two sisters have also preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 21, 1993 at 11 a.m. at the Orem 1st Ward, 80 South 295 East. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the chapel. Interment, Veterans Memorial Cemetery with full Military Honors by the Veterans of Foreign Wars District #4.
