BRESLAWSKI Peter Breslawski was born July 4, 1905 in the Ukraine and passed to his rest in Edmonton. Sunday. December 3, 1972. As a young man he came to Canada and laboured in many places in the West, joining the Canadian National Railway in 1934, where he worked until his retirement in 1970. In 1935 he was married to Mary Papirnik in
Lucerne, British Columbia. Residing in Athabasca for several years they then moved to Edmonton in 1943 where they have lived until the passing of Mr. Breslawski. Left to mourn their loss are his loving wife, Mary; three sons: Percival of Vancouver, B.C.; William of Calgary, Alberta; Joseph of Sidney, Australia; and one daughter, Marie (Mrs. William Melnyk,) of Calgary, Alberta; seven grandchildren; one brother in Pennsylvania, U.S.A., one brother and two sisters in the Ukraine. Brother Breslawski became a member of the Edmonton Ukrainian S.D.A. Church in 1953 under the labours of Elder George Soloniuk and remained a faithful member until the time of his passing. His daughter, Patricia, predeceased him in 1948. A memorial service was held in the Park Memorial Funeral Chapel on Thursday, December 7 by Pastor P. E. Uniat. The funeral service was held on Friday. December 8 by Pastors E. Littman and P. E. Uniat.
