From "Slaves and slaveholders in Bermuda, 1616-1782" by Virginia Bernhard (c1999, Univ. of Missouri Press), pg.
244, in a discussion on schools in Bermuda: "The teachers were all women: Mrs. Pitt, Mrs. Robinson, Mrs. Rollins, Mrs. Coverly, Mrs. Salter (Saltus), Mrs. Morris, and two unmarried women, Betty Stovell and Rebecca Dunscomb."
This could not be this Rebecca, as she married before 1729, but it is included here as an interesting side note since I have no record of any other Rebecca in this time period (EAD).
