Catherine (nee Breslawski) Kalamon, 97, of Stowe, PA
Catherine Kalamon, 97 of Center Street, Stowe, PA, died Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Chestnut Knoll Assisted Living in Boyertown, PA. She was the wife of the late John Kalamon.
Born in Stowe, she was the daughter of the late Jospeh and Kathryn, (nee Fedora) Breslawski. She was well known for her beautifully decorated Pysanky (Ukrainian decorated eggs).
Catherine “Cassie” was in the first senior class to graduate from West Pottsgrove High School in 1944. She was the senior class May Queen and Drill Team Leader.
Catherine was a member of St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, Pottstown.
Surviving are three sons, John S. Kalamon of Chalfont, PA, William M. Kalamon of Pike Township, Berks County, and Gregory J. Kalamon of new Hanover Township; Three daughters, Barbara J. Kimball of Sterling, MA, Catherine M. Moyer and Michele A. Hoffman, both of Boyertown; 13 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren.
Catherine was predeceased by her husband John Kalamon, her parents Joseph and Kathryn Breslawski, and her siblings; Joseph, John, Mary, Pauline, William, Sophie, Anna, and Rose.
Family and friends are invited to her Divine Liturgy, Friday, 10am in St. Michaels Ukrainian Catholic Church 425 West Walnut Street, Pottstown. Burial will be at St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Douglassville.
