Mrs. Cortland Parker Dead
Newark, Jan. 2 ? Mrs. Elizabeth Wolcott Parker, wife of Cortland [sic] Parker Sr., dean of the New Jersey bar, died yesterday at her home, Broad and Fulton streets, Newark, N. J., after four days' illness with pneumonia. She was in her eightieth year.
Mrs. Parker was an accomplished linguist, and she was noted for her works of charity. She for many years was a manager of the Protestant Foster Home.
The funeral will take place Friday.
