Shushan, New York, 12873
Dear Mr. Dunsocmbe:
I have your letter of March 20 concerning the Dunscomb family.
The only Dunscomb to graduate Yale was Josiah William Dunscomb with the class of 1801. A copy of his biography taken from Franklin B. Dexter's "Biographical Sketches of the Graduates of Yale College" (New York: Henry Holt and Company, 1911) is enclosed for your information. The sketch, however, does not include any information of the parents of Josiah W. Dunscomb.
Sincerely,
(Signed) Patricia L. Bodak

From the above "Biographical sketches...":
Josiah William Dunscomb was a native of Bermuda. He became a physician in Bermuda. His name is first marked as deceased in the Triennial Catalogue of Graduates published in the fall of 1826.
